WASHINGTON — One lucky player in Illinois has won the $1.04 billion Powerball jackpot in Wednesday's drawing.

It's the largest prize won this year and the eighth-largest Powerball jackpot in the game's history. If the lucky winner chooses the cash option, they would get a cash value of $450.5 million.

The ticket was sold in Quincy, Illinois, at a Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh gas station. Though we know where it was won, we may never know who the ticket belongs to.
