Watch: Robots get fiery 'Terminator' farewell in Finland with Schwarzenegger cameo

WASHINGTON — A California-based AI company sent a group of its retired robots off in fiery fashion.

Firm Figure announced on social media they wanted to send the decommissioned robots off in style. They took votes on three options: livestream disassembly, turn them into art or blow them up.

Blow them up received the most votes, but they landed on a fourth option from The Terminator himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger, after he suggested they should melt them.

After deciding to melt them, Firm Figure teamed with a metal foundry in Finland. Next, they trained the robots to jump off ledges.
