Shannon Rodman moved home to Jasper, Minnesota to oversee his late dad’s windmill collection.
JASPER, Minnesota — Editor’s note: This story originally aired on August 30, 2021. The founder of the Rodman Windmill Farm, Terry Rodman, passed away on February 16, 2025, after battling cancer. Terry’s wife, Kris, died nine months later.
People in Jasper were saddened to think the windmill collection might be dispersed at an auction. But Terry's son, Shannon Rodman, decided he couldn't let that happen.
Shannon has moved from Belgrade, Montana to Jasper to become caretaker for the windmills his father collected and restored.
