A suspect who was arrested following an incident that sparked a major police response at the UnitedHealthcare campus in Minnetonka allegedly made "threats of violence" if "specific demands not met."
Police revealed new information from the Monday incident as the investigation remains ongoing on Tuesday.
The Minnetonka Police Department said an individual contacted the FBI Minneapolis Field Office at about 10:47 a.m., issuing the threats "directed at the UnitedHealthcare facility."
"While the investigation is still in its early stages, there is currently no indication the individual had specific grievances against UnitedHealthcare," authorities said.
