Tomato bisque soup kits sold at Walmart recalled due to possible listeria contamination

WASHINGTON — More than 3,000 packs of tomato bisque soup kits are under recall due to possible listeria contamination, the Food and Drug Administration said Thursday. 

Marketside Tomato Bisque Soup kits, sold in 14 oz packages at Walmart stores in 29 states, are under recall as the product may be contaminated with listeria monocyogenes, a bacteria that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, the elderly or those who have weakened immune systems.
