WASHINGTON — TikTok creator Sydney Towle, who documented her rare cancer battle with more than 1 million followers, has died. She was 26.
Towle's family shared the news of her death with a post on her social media account on Thursday. She died after a nearly three-year battle with a rare form of bile duct cancer.
"Rest in Peace Sydney Elizabeth Towle," the statement shared on her social media said. "An endless ray of sunshine. A daughter, sister, and friend to so many."
