The Anoka County Historical Society is making a bold and creative move to secure its future, purchasing a stunning 160-year-old mansion to serve as both a bed and breakfast and a museum. Minnesota Live photojournalist Bill Middeke visited the historic Ticknor Hill Bed and Breakfast to explore this one-of-a-kind destination, where overnight stays begin in September with rooms ranging from $205 to $225 per night. The museum portion is expected to open early next year, and tours of the beautiful historic home are available now with advanced reservations, free of charge with donations gladly welcomed.
