Investigators believe a group of teens trespassed at a decommissioned grain elevator before the fall happened.
MINNEAPOLIS — An 18-year-old is recovering from life-threatening injuries after falling about 20 stories at a decommissioned grain elevator in Minneapolis.
Minneapolis police reported the incident occurred Monday night at the old Checkerboard Grain elevator. Investigators believe that a group of teens were trespassing on the property when one fell in the building, landing on an elevated platform.
Firefighters reached the injured teen with a ladder truck and they are now being treated at Hennepin Healthcare.
