Stearns County prosecutors accused the 18-year-old of first-degree damage to property, a felony charge that carries up to five years in prison if convicted.
ST. CLOUD, Minn. — A Sauk Rapids teen was charged with causing more than $3,000 of damage to an Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) camera in St. Cloud earlier this summer, according to a newly filed criminal complaint.
Stearns County prosecutors accused the 18-year-old of first-degree damage to property, a felony charge that carries up to five years in prison if convicted.
Court documents claimed the teen was caught on local surveillance video arriving at a local sporting goods store, where he appeared to buy saw blades. The footage goes on to show the teen leaving the store and driving away.
