Clouds will continue to increase tonight as our next round of showers and storms moves in overnight. The best chance for storms will be across northwest Minnesota, where there is a Slight Risk, or level 2 out of 5, for severe weather.
For the Twin Cities metro, storms are still possible overnight, but the severe weather risk is not expected here. Most of the metro should mainly see this as a nuisance storm chance as activity moves through.
By Tuesday, skies become mostly sunny and much more pleasant, with highs only in the mid-70s. Wednesday stays seasonable, though some haze may be around, with highs near 79 degrees.
Thursday and Friday look quiet and warmer, with highs climbing from the low 80s Thursday into the mid-80s Friday.
