A St. Paul man’s quick action helped save 18 children on a school bus after the driver suffered a medical emergency.
It happened Monday afternoon after school in Dayton’s Bluff neighborhood.
5 EYEWITNESS NEWS reviewed store surveillance video that showed Ebro Ahmed outside Bricks Snacks and Tobacco before he saw what was happening and ran onto the still-moving bus.
“I saw a bus roll past me with the doors open, and I saw the bus driver seizing up,” Ahmed told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS on Tuesday.
Ahmed said he focused on stopping the bus, then called for help.
