St. Paul council approves $350K payout in police shooting of man convicted of sexual assault

The St. Paul City Council has approved a $350K settlement for a man who was shot four times by police in 2020 after he live-streamed the sexual assault of a woman and ran away from police.

Joseph Javonte Washington was sentenced last year to 30 years in prison for first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
