Search underway for man who went missing in Mississippi River

Officials are continuing to search for a man who went missing in the Mississippi River on Saturday.

The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office Water Patrol Unit responded to the 1300 block of Mississippi River Boulevard South just before 5 p.m. for a man who went missing in the river.

Authorities say rescue crews did not find him, but recovery efforts continued near Hidden Falls Park until dark.

The Minnesota DNR joined Water Patrol in the search on Sunday, which is ongoing.
