School bus in ditch after crash on Geneva Avenue in North St. Paul

A school bus is in the ditch and the front end of a white SUV is smashed up after a crash in North St. Paul on Wednesday morning.

Traffic cameras in the area of Geneva Avenue and 34th Street North show the aftermath of the incident. Emergency crews have since cleared the northbound lanes of Geneva Avenue but they are still on the shoulder.

A spokesperson for the North St. Paul School District confirmed to KSTP that there was a crash involving a school bus but did not provide any more details about if anyone was injured.

The spokesperson also said that the Minnesota State Patrol (MSP) is leading the investigation.
