U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar said the U.S. Department of Justice has not told her anything about its investigation tied to the search of her Washington, D.C., home.

Rep. Omar, D-Minnesota, voted Friday in Minneapolis after skipping a scheduled news conference with Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison at the Hennepin County Election Center. 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS caught up with Omar after she voted, asking her what she’s been briefed on, as she walked from the polling place to a nearby car and was driven away.

“Nothing. They haven’t said anything,” Omar said.

She said the U.S. Justice Department (DOJ) has not given her information about its investigation into possible fraud in her family’s immigration paperwork. That search warrant remained sealed as of this report.
