We’re keeping a few spotty showers and storms in the forecast tonight, especially south of the metro. Not everyone will see rain, but a few scattered showers or storms may pass through as skies stay mostly cloudy and muggy. Lows fall into the upper 60s.

Wednesday, State Fair Day 7, looks seasonably warm and mainly dry, with partly cloudy skies and highs in the mid-80s.

Thursday brings the next more noticeable chance for scattered showers and storms. It will be variably cloudy, warm, and humid, with highs in the upper 80s. If you’re heading to the fair Thursday, it will be worth keeping an eye on the radar.

Friday turns very warm and humid again. A stray shower is possible early, but most of the day looks dry with highs near 90 degrees.
