Ramsey County judge hears arguments on why two rival gangs should be kept out of the MN State Fair

Lawsuits were filed against rival gangs known as Muddy and The Ville after court records showed members posted plans to organize a large fight at the MN State Fair.

ST PAUL, Minn. — Prosecutors argued their case to block two rival gangs from the Minnesota State Fair during two hearings in Ramsey County Court Thursday.

The lawsuit was filed by the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office and the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office to prevent violent outbursts by the gangs known as Muddy and The Ville.

According to prosecutors and court records, members of these two rival gangs have been posting about “the biggest fight of the summer” and how it will happen at the Minnesota State Fair.
