Widespread Rain and Thunder expected Today for not just only the Twin Cities but all of Minnesota and surrounding states. The Rain will come in waves and at times will be Light then back to Moderate to Heavy along with Embedded T-Storms too especially toward the evening hours. Rainfall amounts in most areas will average 1″ but some +1″ amounts possible. Temperatures will hold steady around 60 degrees with Gusty Southeast Winds at 10 to 20 mph with higher +25 mph Gusts. Rain ending early Tuesday morning around 3 a.m. and temperatures will be in the upper 50s by 7 a.m. Tuesday with areas of Patchy Fog.

Tuesday starts with Low Clouds and Patchy Fog then Partly Cloudy to Sunny in the afternoon with Breezy West-Northwest Winds at 10 to 15 mph and highs in the upper 60s. Clear and Cool Tuesday night with Light Winds and lows in the upper 40s.
