The U of M Landscape Arboretum – the home of the Honeycrisp apple - is hosting its annual celebration of fall, with more than 500 varieties of pumpkins and squash.

Each year, the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum becomes Pumpkin Central, hosting scarecrows, a tree made of pumpkins, and pumpkins as surprising decorations. 

What people may not realize is that some experts at the Arboretum's Horticultural Research Center, who normally focus on table grapes and cold-hardy wine grapes, bring another specialty to the table each fall.
