WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump is once again urging Senate lawmakers to pass the Sunshine Protection Act, a bill that would make daylight saving time permanent.
The bill, which passed the House overwhelmingly in mid-July, 308-117, would eliminate the twice-a-year clock changes in fall and spring.
