Plymouth dog attack: German Shepherd still loose after killing dog

An aggressive dog killed another dog in Plymouth before running away on Tuesday, according to police.

Investigators say the attack happened near 37th Avenue North where they found the dead dog.

No people were hurt but Plymouth police described the dog as a black and brown German Shepherd with black coloring on top and brown underneath.

Witnesses to the attack also say the German Shepherd was limping and may have a broken leg.

Plymouth police say that residents should not approach a dog matching that description. If anyone has any information about the dog or its owner, they are being asked to call the Plymouth Police Department at 763-509-5160.

As of Wednesday morning, the dog has not yet been found.
