An outside law firm’s investigation into allegations brought against St. Paul Mayor Kaohly Her cost nearly $44,000, according to an invoice obtained Monday by 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS.
St. Paul hired St. Cloud-based Resolute Law in March to evaluate a complaint filed by Police Chief Axel Henry that alleged the mayor had sexually harassed the police chief and demonstrated a pattern of creating an uncomfortable work environment.
The law firm billed $290 an hour for services provided from March 31 through Sept. 24, which included the time to travel to the Twin Cities to conduct interviews.
In all, the city paid for 149 hours of legal services and $932 worth of mileage and parking expenses.
