New hospital opens in western Wisconsin

The new Chippewa Falls hospital is officially seeing patients.

CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. — A new hospital has officially opened its doors in a city that was left without a hospital more than two years ago.

Aspirus Chippewa Falls Hospital and Clinic opened for patient care on Tuesday. Services include emergency care, inpatient hospital care, primary care, imaging services, laboratory services and an on-site inpatient pharmacy, officials said.
