NASCAR honors the late Kyle Busch by designating Aug. 18 as "Kyle Busch Day," celebrating his legacy with a marathon of his career highlights.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Nearly three months after his shocking death, NASCAR is honoring racing legend Kyle Busch by recognizing Aug. 18 as "Kyle Busch Day." 

The date, 8/18, signifies two numbers driven by Busch during his NASCAR Cup Series career. The No. 8 with Richard Childress Racing, and the 18 that Busch piloted to two Cup Series titles with longtime sponsor M&M's and Joe Gibbs Racing. As part of the celebration, NASCAR will air a marathon of Kyle Busch's greatest achievements on its streaming channel.
