Two of the fires in St. Paul over the weekend resulted in deaths
ST PAUL, Minn. — A 38-year-old mother who ran back into her burning home to save her young daughter has died from her injuries, as another St. Paul couple reflects on their own losses during a series of fires that broke out within about 90 minutes Saturday.
Bonnie Pierce died two days after the fire. She leaves behind four daughters and a grandson.
Pierce's family told KARE 11 that she and one of her daughters initially made it outside their home on Magnolia Avenue. Pierce then realized another daughter, a 4-year-old girl, was still inside and went back into the burning home.
