Muggy with off-and-on storm chances this week – Chris

We’re starting the week on a muggy note, with partly cloudy skies and a chance of a stray shower or storm toward sunrise Tuesday. Most areas stay quiet tonight, but a few spots may wake up to rain.

Tuesday brings a chance of a shower or storm early, then another chance of storms Tuesday night. It will stay warm and muggy, with highs in the mid-80s.

Wednesday also brings a slight chance of an early thunderstorm, but most of the day looks partly cloudy and seasonable with highs in the mid-80s. Thursday looks like one of the quieter days of the week, with partly cloudy skies and highs in the low 80s.

Our next better chance of rain arrives late Friday into Saturday. Showers and storms look likely Friday night, followed by mostly cloudy skies and a few showers on Saturday. Temperatures will also cool down, with highs only in the 70s this weekend.
