Jury selection is underway in the murder trial of Jordan Collins who is accused of murdering his son in May of 2025.
COLUMBIA HEIGHTS, Minn. — Jury selection is now underway in the trial of a Columbia Heights man accused of killing his own son. Prosecutors are preparing to call 91 witnesses to the witness stand, according to court records.
16-year-old Manny Collins disappeared from his father Jordan Collins' apartment in May of 2025. According to Manny’s mother Ashley Berry, the last time she had contact with him was the morning of May 8, 2025.
"He said mom, I love you, I appreciate you, thank you and I'll see you soon. That's the last text message at 4:02 a.m.” Berry said.
