Highs will climb into the mid to upper 80’s with plenty of sunshine and breezy winds out of the south, gusting up to around 30 mph for your Monday afternoon. We stay clear of rain throughout the day; however, dewpoints will be on the rise, courtesy of our southerly wind component. The cold front to the west of us moves through overnight pushing a line of showers and thunderstorms across the state during the late evening and early morning hours. The Storm Prediction Center remains focused on areas north and west of the metro for severe risk. Behind this system cooler and drier air will filter in with highs only climbing into the mid 70’s Tuesday.
