A man in his 70s was found dead in Dakota County on Tuesday after he was missing for a week.
Michael William Robinson, 77, was first reported missing near Prescott Island on the evening of July 28, according to the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office.
Ground and water searches initially uncovered Robinson’s unoccupied boat near the island, the sheriff’s office said. His body was found about a week after he was reported missing.
“This is not the outcome any of us had hoped for. Our hearts are with Michael’s family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time,” Dakota County Sheriff Joe Leko said.
