Good Friday morning!
The rain many of us have early this morning will be the first of several waves of rain today. Some heavy rain at times is expected along with possible thunderstorms which will last through tonight.
Most of the metro area will likely see an inch or two of rain with some areas seeing as much as 3” to 4” just to the south.
The heavy rain will likely cause ponding water and create much slower speeds on area roads today and this evening.
Some flooding is possible across parts of Dakota and Scott counties but the better chance for any flooding will be SE MN, where the heaviest rain falls.
The weather this weekend will remain cool.
Cloudy skies with only sprinkles possible on Saturday for the Gopher game.
Sunday will be partly sunny and dry,...
