Minnesota Office of Inspector General commission holds first meeting

A new state commission meets on Wednesday to begin establishing Minnesota’s new Office of Inspector General.

Lawmakers described the measure creating the independent agency as the “most significant anti-fraud legislation in recent history” after more than a year of debate at the State Capitol. The Legislative Inspector General Advisory Commission is set to hold its first meeting at 10 a.m.
