The $2 million upgrade to the Plymouth Grand 15 is the biggest investment in the 91 year history of Mann Theatres.
PLYMOUTH, Minn. — Throughout the month of September, the Plymouth Grand 15 has been down a screen, with crews spending more than a week getting ready for a massive delivery that just arrived.
"We're looking at the IMAX screen," said Michelle Mann, pointing to a massive mailing tube so long that it extended nearly the entire width of the auditorium.
For Mann, co-owner of Mann Theatres, the installation of that IMAX screen on Saturday will mark one of the final steps in a very lengthy, very expensive transformation.
