McDonald's will begin selling Red Bull Dragonberry Energizer nationwide Aug. 17, its first energy drink.
CHICAGO — McDonald's is launching an energy drink for the first time.
The fast food chain is adding the Red Bull Dragonberry Energizer to menus at participating restaurants starting Aug. 17.
The new drink blends Red Bull's original flavor with blue raspberry syrup and freeze-dried dragonfruit. Customers who want a reduced-sugar version can substitute Red Bull Zero as the base.
McDonald's is also now selling 8.4-ounce cans of Red Bull on its own at participating locations.
