ILLINOIS, USA — An Illinois man was sentenced to two years of probation on July 31 after he posted violent comments against Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan's life.
Flanagan tweeted a message of support in September 2025 for victims and families affected by the mass shooting at Annunciation Church and School. Caden Sluder, 23, posted several violent responses, writing, “Children’s blood is on your hands and soon it will be coming out of your mouth and [expletive] throat as we beat you.”
