Man killed, wife seriously injured in Jordan crash

Jordan PD says the man and his wife were driving when they were struck by a vehicle that failed to stop at the intersection of Old Highway 169 and Aberdeen Avenue.

JORDAN, Minn. — A 69-year-old Chaska man was killed, and his wife was seriously injured in a crash Sunday evening in Jordan.

According to the Jordan Police Department, the man and his wife were driving in a Mazda Miata when they were struck by a Ford Bronco that failed to stop at the intersection of Old Highway 169 and Aberdeen Avenue just after 7:40 p.m. The driver of the Miata died at the scene, and his wife was transported to HCMC with "serious injuries," police said in a press release. The driver of the Bronco was seen by an ambulance but refused to go to the hospital, police said.

Witnesses told police that the Bronco didn't appear to slow or brake before the collision. Police...
