Man involved in 2024 Dale Street Station murder sentenced to nearly 35 years in prison

A man has been sentenced after being convicted of second-degree murder for his role in killing a man in St. Paul in 2024 at Dale Street Station.

Markus Antwon Jennings, 24, pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting second-degree murder and was sentenced to 418 months (34.8 years) in prison. He will get credit for 768 days of time already served.

Jennings is one of three people charged in the death of 23-year-old Kevon Ishmel Ewing, who was found shot with multiple injuries on the night of May 17, 2024, in St. Paul.

The other two suspects arrested were his brother Markel Alauntae Jennings and Lamar Kastedell Thomas.
