Minneapolis Police found a man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his leg in the area of the 300 block of 1st Avenue North.
MINNEAPOLIS — A man is recovering after an overnight shooting in Minneapolis.
According to the Minneapolis Police Department, officers were in the area of the 300 block of 1st Avenue North around 2:01 a.m. during bar closing time, when a fight broke out in a nearby parking lot.
Officers then heard gunshots and found a man with a gunshot wound to the leg. He was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say additional officers were called to the scene to help manage the crowd.
Authorities are working to determine what led up to the shooting.
