MINNEAPOLIS — A Shakopee man was sentenced to life in prison Friday in connection with the 2025 murder of a woman in Richfield.
Court documents said Jose Luis Lopez Xique, of Shakopee, was convicted of first-degree premeditated murder; second-degree intentional murder; and harassment using a dangerous weapon for shooting and killing Kayli Arseth, a woman whom he had met online.
