Majority of the state is experiencing drought conditions.
PLYMOUTH, Minn. — Low lake levels are plaguing many lakes across the state.
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources reports 27% of the state is experiencing a moderate drought, 48% of the state is in severe drought which is up 45% from last week.
Over on Medicine Lake, the low levels are visible, which makes getting out on the water a little more challenging.
“You have to back the trailer farther down, the ramps less stable the more, the deeper you get into the water so there’s that,” said Evan Ledoux.
Ledoux grew up near Medicine Lake and tries to get out on the water once a week.
