More than 206,000 absentee and mail-in ballots were accepted across Minnesota by Monday morning, an early voting record for a non-presidential election year, according to the Minnesota Secretary of State’s Office (SOS). Will that lead to record turnout on Tuesday?

As of 3 p.m. Tuesday, SOS said the number of absentee and mail-in ballots had risen to roughly 250,000, and that doesn’t account for in-person voting.

Polls remain open until 8 p.m. Tuesday, and anyone in line by that time can vote, by law.
