Linwood family says driver tried to lure child into a van

Law enforcement said the driver was spotted on Flock cameras.

LINWOOD, Minn. — On a rural road where cars move fast, it’s noticeable when one slows down.

Earlier this month, a Linwood fifth grader said she noticed a van braking on her street.

Olivia Fischer had walked 300 feet back to her house from a neighbor's weekend party.

"I was coming here to get my bike," Olivia said. "I was coming out of the garage and that guy, he did a U-turn. He pulled up right by the driveway."

Olivia was immediately suspicious.

"He had his window down, and he was staring at me," Olivia said. "It was scary. So I dropped my bike and ran over."
