Developing now, police are investigating a homicide in the south metro.
BURNSVILLE, Minn. — Police are investigating a homicide in Burnsville Wednesday afternoon, and people are being asked to avoid the area.
The city made a social media post shortly after 1:30 p.m. saying there is a large police police presence in the area of Maple Island Road and Joplin Avenue. That's near Crystal Lake and I-35.
The city did not offer many details but said this is an active investigation and that there is no indication that there is any threat to the pubic.
