A man accused of serial robberies around the D.C. area had a last-minute twist in his trial as jurors found evidence apparently missed by law enforcement for years.
WASHINGTON — A D.C. man accused of carjacking and armed robberies in 2023 was found guilty of some of the criminal charges he faced. But jurors found themselves at an impasse after one found evidence that prosecutors and law enforcement missed: a Chinese yuan and a "powdery white substance."
