Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular lights up the Minnesota Zoo once again this fall

APPLE VALLEY, Minn. — The Minnesota Zoo's Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular will return for another season Sept. 25 through Nov. 1, bringing more than 5,000 hand-carved, illuminated pumpkins to the zoo's grounds along with an expanded route and a new trivia game woven into the trail.

The annual event takes visitors on a roughly quarter-mile nighttime walk through a wooded trail lined with glowing pumpkin displays. This year, guests can solve trivia questions as they walk, with the carved pumpkins themselves serving as the answers.
