Is lettuce safe to eat now? Where the cyclospora outbreak currently stands

WASHINGTON — Iceberg lettuce became a main character this summer, but not necessarily for a glamorous reason. 

As of Aug. 27, the common grocery store produce has been linked to 11,458 cases of parasitic illnesses across the United States.
