Is Facebook down? Thousands report access issues

Thousands of people reported having issues accessing Facebook on Sunday evening, according to Downdetector. 

There were more than 17,000 reports as of 9:15 p.m. ET, according to the outage website. 

Most of the reports said they had issues accessing the Facebook website, which is stuck on the Facebook logo and will not load further. Some pages are just white screens and will not load. 

About 12% of reports said the app was having login issues as well.
