After police officers put the cold-blooded critter in the back of a squad car, Jordan Jones stepped in with her high heels on.
JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. — An Indiana woman answered the call Sunday to wrangle an alligator police found outside a law office.
The 4-foot-long escape artist was spotted on the street around 3 a.m. Sunday. Jeffersonville Police found the alligator outside a law office on Court Avenue, just a couple of blocks away from the courthouse. They received an early morning tip that the alligator was there and responded to the scene, then booked the rogue reptile into the back of a K-9 unit.
Then they called Jordan Jones, founder of the Kentuckiana Scaletuary, a nonprofit sanctuary for cold-blooded animals.
