Jamie and Amy Shinneman were gifted an adaptive racing bike seven years ago. Now, the couple is hoping to pay it forward.

HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. — The wind rushing past her and the sound of her husband’s footsteps are freeing for Amy Shinneman. Born with Bethlem myopathy, a rare type of muscular dystrophy, the Indiana native has never been able to run or jump.
