A U.S. citizen was reportedly left injured on the ground after Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents mistakenly detained him in the Chicago suburb of Evanston, Illinois, over the weekend, city officials told CNN.
Security video from a nearby restaurant, obtained by CNN, captured the struggle between ICE agents and the man on Sunday morning. Evanston Police told CNN that they found the man, who they identified as an Evanston resident, lying on the ground with injuries after responding to reports of two men arguing.
