MINNEAPOLIS — The federal immigration officer accused of lying to investigators after shooting a man in north Minneapolis in January appeared in court Thursday after surrendering to authorities.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer Christian Castro was arrested by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) Wednesday and was held overnight in Hennepin County Jail ahead of his court date Thursday. His bail is set at $400,000 without conditions or $250,000 with conditions.
